Lenton Brae Wilyabrup Chardonnay 2023

A wine that really makes a statement about the vintage and the now mature vineyard. It’s predominantly Gingin clone with about 5% other clones. A mix of new and use French oak of different sixes was used with wild yeast fermentation and nine months on lees. It’s textured with a lovely mix of roasted hazelnut, brioche and lemon curd laced with a fine chalky acidity. One of the best yet.
