Xanadu Vinework cabernet sauvignon 2022

A generous but medium-bodied cabernet. From a vintage which turned out to be excellent, especially for these reds. The nose is a beautiful mix of black currant and spicy leafy notes. The palate has a deliciously rich, chocolatey black currant flavour, backed up with some fine tannin threads and well-weighted oak. Has good structure and intensity and captures cabernet nicely, delivering a wine of great balance and poise and tremendous value. Cracking good wine at this price point.
