L S Merchants Waldron shiraz 2024

This is quite different from the 470 clone. It's a softer and more supple character. On the nose there are lifted notes of blue fruit. The ironstone characters really thread through here. The cuttings came from New Zealand's Hawke's Bay region. No acid additions or tannins with no fining. The colour is so brilliant and bright with energy in abundance. Has a distinctive clonal and regional influence with the ironstone character evident.
