Gilberts Handpicked chardonnay 2025

This is a slightly lighter, medium-bodied chardonnay from Mount Barker that's been given a little barrel fermentation to bring complexity and texture into the mid-palate while retaining that vibrant, lively and quite crunchy freshness. Subtle cashew and lemon meringue characters lead to a palate that is fine and quite delicate, threading through to a sustained, long finish. Delightful drinking over the shorter term.
