Flowstone Queen of the Earth sauvignon blanc 2025

Few winemakers capture such complexity and intrigue with sauvignon blanc as Stuart Pym, and he's done it again with this excellent wine. As always, he uses oak in the process, and it creates such a compelling and engaging combination on the nose. Lemony, nutty characters merge with the punchy tropical fruit of the variety, along with that little gooseberry lick. The palate is so well balanced and integrated, with almost lyrically laid oak sitting comfortably, adding its bit but allowing the fruit to express itself. First-rate example of this style.
