Jilyara Honeycomb Corner rosé 2025

This is a combination of sauvignon blanc and merlot, with the fruit hardly touching the skins on its way through. It was largely completed in tank, but a small portion of barrel-fermented fruit has certainly built some textural elements into the mid-palate. Three months in older oak to finish has brought everything together rather delightfully. Slightly savoury, with lovely red berry fruit notes and a crisp, crunchy, long finish. A really good example of modern rosé.
