Houghton has been part of the Australian wine industry since 1836. It is known for its colourful history, including tales of pioneer Scots, bandits, and generations of winemaking craftsmanship. In 1937 winemaker Jack Mann created one of Australia’s most famous wines - Houghton White Burgundy, now known as White Classic. In the past three decades Houghton wines have won more than 250 trophies and 4800 medals at domestic and international wine shows. The wines continue to excel from value for money through to super premiums.
