Singlefile Family Reserve Denmark Chardonnay 2022

I expected this to be a mighty good chardonnay from this season, and true to form it has not disappointed. Engaging aromas of lemon zest and grapefruit with a subtle roasted cashew addition. A small amount of malolactic fermentation has introduced a textural element to the palate. On the nose the faintest hint of struck match adds further complexity. It's delicate but there is power, a hallmark of the best chardonnays. One of the best under this label.
