Ferngrove Stirlings Bluff Knoll cabernet shiraz malbec 2023

A stylish and expressive blend from this excellent vintage. Predominantly cabernet (60%) with shiraz (30%) and malbec (10%). Fermented in small open fermenters and matured with about 40% new oak. The fruit–oak balance is impeccable, creating a seamless, intricately woven palate that drives effortlessly to a long finish. Plummy, savoury blackcurrant with dried herb complexity. The palate shows the perfect balance of sweet fruit, fine oak and silky tannins. Bright, energetic and first-rate.
