Oh my, what a wonderful example of a liqueur style that the Swan Valley does so well. The colour has that deep caramel and a slight hint of khaki on the edges. You open with an aroma of remarkable complexity, with toffee and roasted coffee beans, dark raisins and syrupy caramel all swirling around and capturing your attention. And then the palate is such a rich, dense and concentrated, multi-layered combination, with a finish that is almost endless. A wonderful wine.
