Sandalford 1840 Swan Valley Chenin Blanc 2024

A variety that was fully tested in this hot year and yet once again has shown its ability to perform in warmer years in the Swan Valley. It’s from old vines and was fermented in oak and tank before being brought together. There’s a delightful spicy citrus character here rather than the usual varietal tropical fruits. The palate is already complex but is bright and vibrant with good depth. A mighty good little chenin here.
