Peccavi Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

The '21 vintage in Margaret River often receives some negativity, and it is an example of a wine that is now just five years old showing what could be achieved in the season. It's really come together quite beautifully, more in the medium-bodied zone. With leafy, dark blackcurrant and black olive nuances on the nose, and a little bay leaf complexity. And then a palate that is so intricately integrated. Fine, chalky tannins, some neatly weighted oak, and beautiful dark fruits. It's perfectly poised and balanced right now. And while it could cellar effortlessly for another 10 years, it's hard to put down now.
