Jarrah Ridge Blossom cabernet sauvignon 2016

Pretty happy when you can still find a 10-year-old Margaret River cabernet at an affordable price. This one’s terrific. It’s a rounded, full-bodied and generous style of cabernet, exhibiting the firmish tannins which earmark the vintage, but supported with great depth of fruit, displaying the blackcurrant, dark chocolate and slightly minerally oyster shell characters that you might expect. It’s now developing some further complexity with bottle age and drinking quite beautifully right now.
