Deep Woods Estate Single Vineyard shiraz 2023

My, my, my, this is good. It comes from a very old vineyard in Wilyabrup, and a small portion of the fruit was kept on full, whole bunches during fermentation. The nose is spicy, with dark plum, liqueur cherry, some subtle toasty oak, and a lift of red fruits. The palate is seamlessly integrated with the fine tannins and silky fine-grained oak, working harmoniously to bring further life to the wonderful fruit characters. This is a wine that epitomises what can be done with shiraz in Margaret River.
