Clairault Reserve cabernet sauvignon 2022

This comes off the original 1976 plantings at Clairault planted by Ian and Ani Lewis. This is so classically Margaret River, with its combination of blackcurrant, bay leaf, oyster shell, and dark chocolate on the nose. And then a palate which is so fine and seamlessly structured, with loads of dark fruits, controlled with fine, slightly chalky tannins and supported by some excellent fine-grained oak. So poised and yet powerful.
