Brown Hill Estate Trafalgar cabernet merlot 2023

A terrific value red from a very good season. Bright, lively fruit shows good concentration and medium body, with loads of plummy blueberry notes on the nose. The palate brings blackberry, subtle fruitcake, and a hint of black olive. Less time in oak, but still, 15% new, adds a spicy lift. Well-structured and seamlessly integrated.
