Brown Hill Estate Great Boulder cabernet shiraz merlot malbec 2023

A wonderful example of this distinctly Australian blend, where shiraz from the Rhône works with the Bordeaux varieties. From a very good season, the colour is bright and the aromas move into the blue and red fruit zone with a lift of blackberry. The palate is seamless and supple, with fine, chalky tannins threading through a slightly liqueur-like cherry and blueberry combination. It’s flavoursome, bright, with tremendous length and poise. Clearly, one of the finest releases of this wine from Brown Hill.
