Ampersand Estates syrah 2024

This one comes from what was an unseasonally hot vintage in Frankland River, and yet it's been harnessed, refined and defined into a really impressive example of what Frankland does so well. Loads of red and black cherry and spicy fruit on the nose, while the palate shows a buoyant brightness and lively feel with an intensity of fruit, all intricately composed with fine chalky tannins and gently understated oak. Has a fine, sappy, slightly savoury finish.
