Woody Nook Chardonnay 2021

This cooler vintage produced some exceptional chardonnay with a fine delicacy. The remarkable thing with this wine is that after barrel fermentation in 100% French oak and monthly lees stirring, plus full malolactic fermentation it is still lancing linear with a tight minerally focus. Aromas are in the white flower and cut lime zone and the palate has a chalky character with lemon curd and light cashew influences. Will handle cellaring.
