Whipbird chardonnay 2024

A delightful example of how good chardonnay was in Pemberton during this warm season. It is light-bodied, with citrus, melon and grapefruit on the nose, lifted by a hint of jasmine. The palate reveals melon fruit dominance with good flavour intensity and length. Oak is understated and subtle, but important in the final composition. A really nice current drinking wine.
