Peos Estate Single Vineyard Four Aces shiraz 2023

Shiraz can sometimes be overlooked in Manjimup, it being a cool viticultural region. But in good seasons, and ’23 was one of those, the wines can be excellent. In this case, this is a beautiful medium-weight, seamless, smooth, effortless shiraz harnessing some excellent fruit characters. Aromas of chocolate and dark plum with a little lifted spice, and then a palate that introduces slightly earthy, darker notes with a nice dried herb and subtle peppery finish. Most attractive wine.
