Idee Fixe Premier Brut Rosé

This is a combination of chardonnay and pinot. It's a wine of tremendous intensity, yet also with finesse. The aromas show a subtle combination of meaty, red-fruited pinot, with the fine, citrussy edge of chardonnay. It all merges into a palate that offers some quite beautiful fruit characters, albeit subtly, with a fine, savoury, meaty finish. Really an excellent example of a rosé style with a quite brilliant pale pink colour, immediately engaging.
