Fishbone Blue sauvignon blanc semillon 2024

The trick to making this wine just a little bit ahead of the norm is the three months it was left on gross lees, and that's added some texture and some richness to the normal bright, zippy, racy fruit that you get with these two varieties. It all hangs together rather well, with refined, restrained tropical fruits, some nice citrus, lemony tang and a clean, crisp finishing acidity. It's a 60/40 blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon, and ideal for drinking in the short term.
