Fishbone Black chardonnay 2023

An ideal season has resulted in an impressive Margaret River chardonnay. It's a full-bodied, intensely flavoured chardonnay, and the use of whole bunches with wild ferment in barrel with regular lees stirring has contributed to a rich and textured palate, with a lovely feel about it. Lemon zest, brioche, lemon meringue and even a little honeycomb character are all swirling through what is a complex, well-made wine. The faint hint of savoury chalkiness on the finish completes and defines an excellent wine.
