Fishbone Black cabernet sauvignon 2023

This is a most impressive cabernet from this outstanding season. All the fruit comes from a mix of young and old vines from the Fishbone vineyard in Wilyabrup. The season allowed for an extended, almost lazy ripening period that allowed so much flavour to build, but with impeccable balance. Aromas of tobacco leaf, bay leaf, blackcurrant and even a little olive tapenade. The palate is seamlessly integrated and immensely powerful, as you'd expect from this region, carrying with relentless drive through to a very long finish.
