Devil's Lair Margaret River chardonnay 2024

Captures the style and essence of this vineyard to the south of Margaret River town. The wine is quite fine and almost delicate, but there is texture here and a richness which is held and focused with some precision. A combination of light butterscotch and brioche with subtle stone fruit characters. There's a squeeze of lemon and grapefruit. And a nice oak integration. There is a pure sea spray character on the finish, which is most appealing.
