Cherubino Ovale Caves Road Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

As you might expect from this cooler vintage in Margaret River, this is an elegant and refined example of cabernet sauvignon, but don't let its structure and body fool you, because there is plenty of fruit concentration and power here as it is Margaret River cabernet. Blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and gentle black olive influences. There is a trace of oyster shell minerality certainly on the nose, and the palate shows that a careful, understated use of oak can work well with these cooler vintages. Impressive wine.
