Talisman Aurum Chardonnay 2022

In some ways this appears to resemble some of the earlier Gabrielles. It’s a wine with an unashamedly significant winemaking artifact, yet it presents with poise and style. Rich lemon tart and quince paste with a butterscotch and slightly toasty oak influence. A complex weave begins on the palate with savoury lemon fruit and slightly reductive faint struck match influences. I like the wine.
