Sittella Grand Vintage Marie-Christien Lugten 2018

This is a pinot noir chardonnay blend from Pemberton. The aroma has an interesting combination of red fruits with a slightly delicate floral citrus note. The palate is where this begins to do its work. There's depth and complexity here, all held with control and linear finesse. The power is evident immediately as it threads through to a sustained long finish. This was a very good vintage, and the fruit quality is showing in what is one of the best yet under this label.
