Sittella Avant Garde chenin blanc 2025

It was a very good season for chenin blanc in the Swan Valley, and this one is living, vibrant proof. It's not the big fruit bomb that you often get, but instead, there is a highly flavoursome, controlled, linear expression of the variety with subtle, understated stone fruits and florals, with a fine citrus edge, and even a little lemon pith complexity. It's slightly deceptive as it builds on the palate and drives through to its long finish. It's a pretty smart wine.
