You can't possibly go past this one for a value-for-money cabernet blend in a great year. Comes from the Great Southern... and it is all that you want in this combination. Dark ripe red fruits, blackcurrant, a little plum, blackberry, and a lift of red fruits to add some vibrancy. The palate is generous, chocolatey, with red fruit and some nice tannin and oak combination to complete. First-rate wine.
