This is a beautifully drinkable blend from Mount Barker. Loaded with ripe red and black fruits. Plummy blackcurrant and a trace of chalk dust across the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with good intensity. Strikes a fine oak and tannin balance that doesn’t dominate. An attractive current drinking wine with short-term cellaring potential.
