Opens with a faint lemon aroma and some subtle bath salt characters. It was a hot year, but they managed to avoid the heat spike at the end. The fruit in the end was of exceptional quality. There is power and intensity here, and a remarkably pure and vibrant minerally crunchy basalt character. It’s very long and is all free run from the press. Finishes with a delicacy, and yet there is a powerful driving palate profile.
