Passel Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

A stylish and generous cabernet from the '18 vintage. The extra time in bottle has allowed things to settle down nicely. Dark blackcurrant with a pronounced minerality of oyster shell and bay leaf merged with some regional black olive. The palate is tightly coiled but with good flesh and fruit intensity. Support comes from the fine powdery tannins and that neatly handled oak.
