Nikola Estate grenache shiraz mourvèdre 2024

The first thing you notice is the colour—brilliant crimson and ruby red hues. The nose is all swirling red berries with lifted perfumed florals. On the palate, the three varieties combine in a mix of red berry, cherry and spice, with just a little sprinkling of dried herbs. It's medium-bodied with a fine thread of chalky tannin and a gentle persuasion of oak. An excellent wine for the short term.
