Victory Point Margaret River pinot noir 2023

This slightly longer, cooler season in Margaret River turned out to be ideal for producing pinot noir, a variety not generally associated with this region, yet this one is quite superb. The aromas reveal slightly funky cherry, a little truffly mushroom character and brighter red fruits. The palate is light-bodied, but that beautiful combination of slightly sour cherry and a damp earthy nuance is engaging. An excellent wine.
