Myattsfield rosé 2026

The rosés out of Myattsfield in recent years have been quite stunning. This one is a blend of mourvèdre, grenache and viognier. Certainly, that viognier adds a quite spicy lift on the nose and the finish, which is most appealing. Colour is a palest onion pink. The aroma is dominantly rose petal, with a little strawberry and dried herb character. The palate is zingy, but there is a textural feel here. The finish is dry, with a slight savouriness about it. It really does nail this style.
