Has more intensity on the nose than the Providence Road. Love the soft and generous palate with its soft malleable flavours. Foine chalky tannins and fine-grained oak add support, with only about 20% of it new. The fruit comes off Block 3 on the estate which consistently produces the best fruit and then once in the winery a barrel selection process creates the final blend. The fruit is quite small and therefore intense, plus there is a distinctive ferruginous iron filings character cutting across the palate.
