Grace Farm Margaret River chardonnay 2024

The chardonnays from this small family-owned winery located in the Cowaramup Brook Valley continue to impress. This one from the warm 2024 vintage has emerged rather beautifully. A little winemaking goes in here with whole bunch pressing, wild fermentation before fermentation and maturation in all French oak barriques for about 10 months. There are notes of lemon zest, cashew, and nectarine on the nose, while the palate delivers a medium body with layered complexity already. A fine chalky acid provides the focus to carry through to a seamless clean long finish.
