This great wine has its genesis in the first vines planted at Forest Hill in the mid-sixties. It is characterised by its leaner tense palate profile with a fine wet slaty edge that is pure riesling. But, in good years you get a little more weight in the palate without compromising the integrity of the stye This one nails it. Great ageing potential but great drinking even now.
