Laissez Faire grenache 2022

This is an excellent grenache from what was a very good year in Frankland River. As the name suggests, this is a let-it-be wine with minimal intervention. With the fruit coming from the Riversdale Vineyard, it was carefully sorted, with almost nothing added during the winemaking process. The oak was French oak foudre for just six months, which has allowed the fruit to fully express itself. It's gentle, supple, medium-weight, and thoroughly delicious. Bright red fruits emerge immediately on the nose, then fill a complete and satisfying palate. Just a lovely drink.
