There was no malolactic fermentation or lees stirring, so it retains a lively acid energy. The palate is lavishly textured with a mix of grapefruit and stone fruit, and a little cut pear and lime. A little oyster shell minerality adds lift, and then there's a dry savouriness on the finish, with a subtle chalkiness.
