Twinwoods Estate Optivus Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

The best wine yet from Twinwoods. Now this is something special. It’s powerful and concentrated yet there is poise and polish here that is reserved for the very best wines. Plush blackcurrant and dark chocolate with edgier notes of bay leaf and black olive tapenade. The palate has a distinctive oyster shell minerality with fine chalky tannins adding their structural component. It’s a firmer style with a tight core. Plenty of cellaring time here.
