This has developed into one of the state's finest and most consistent rieslings. It comes from the cooler environs of the Porongurup, and on the nose there’s a flinty, crushed wet pebble character working with a spicy, lemony citrus touch. The palate delivers a distinctly linear but intense flavour profile with chalky acidity, citrus notes, and regional minerality. It's delicate yet deceptively powerful and intense, just a lovely wine for current drinking or extended cellaring, where it will really come into its own.
