Sandalford Sandalera Museum Liqueur Muscat NV

This is an extraordinary example of liqueur muscat from the Swan Valley. There are obviously stacks of old material in here, and yet it's been freshened with more recent additions. Hence, the result is a supremely balanced wine, where the combination of old rancio luscious complexity is elevated by some lovely, more recent florals. Totally beguiling combination of toffee, honeycomb, orange rind, caramel, toffee, anything you want, you'll find it in there. Palate is so layered and complex with tremendous depth, and then the finish. It's nigh on perfect as it extends endlessly, delivering this wondrous thing that can come from the Swan Valley.
