Sandalford Estate Reserve shiraz 2022

From old vines among the first planted in Wilyabrup. A superb Margaret River shiraz: generous, smooth and sitting between medium- and full-bodied. Earthy dried herbs, plummy fruits, cocoa and mocha on the nose. The palate has brightness and energy driving through to a sustained finish. Balanced chalky tannins, sweet fruit and a touch of oak complete an excellent wine for short- to medium-term cellaring.
