Pedestal Margaret River chardonnay 2024

Fruit for this excellent chardonnay was sourced from several vineyards in the cool southern Karridale subregion. It was fermented and matured in French oak for eight months. Opens with a decent hit of citrus and quince paste plus a little of that pie crust complexity. The palate is a smooth, textured richness with traces of butterscotch and crunchy apple.
