Cherubino Frankland River shiraz 2023

Gosh, this is a good wine made from the 174, 470 and Waldron clones now being grown on the Riversdale Vineyard. After time on skins for about two months, it was matured in new and one-year-old French oak. It has tremendous concentration and richness, yet presents with the soft, rounded regional structure and opulent flavours. Aromas of plush plum, cherry and a touch of ironstone minerality lead to a palate with delicious richness, plummy blackberry fruit, and a slightly savoury, spicy offset. Perfectly integrated and seamlessly structured.
