Owned by winemakers Josh and Rachael Davenport, Myattsfield was founded in 1997 with a small vineyard planting in the Bickley Valley. First wine release was from the 2005 vintage, with construction of their own winemaking facility completed in 2006. They produce a broad range of wine styles from sparkling to fortified with a particular focus on warm climate varietals such as Vermentino, Durif (1st planting in WA), Mourvedre, Touriga, Montepulciano and Tempranillo alongside more mainstream varietals such as Shiraz and Chardonnay.
