Fuddling Cup started life as a Geographe producer with a focus on cabernet sauvignon with which it was awarded a number if medals. The focus remains on cabernet, but it is now sourced from Wilyabrup in Margaret River. The cabernet sauvignon began in 2000 as grafted rootlings in the tuart sandy loam of Geographe, but now comes from the gravelly loam over clay sub-soils of Wilyabrup. In 2009 a semillon sauvignon blanc was introduced. Subtle complexity is added by fermenting a portion of the sauvignon blanc to this classic Margaret River blend.
